Issue
The combination of cobbles and a lack of dropped kerbs makes the corner of Bath Street and Store Street very difficult to negotiate for people using wheeled mobility aids.
Opportunity
The necessity to cross such a wide area of cobbles could be reduced by adding extra dropped kerbs around the junction. The passage of wheelchair and scooter users could be further aided by re-laying some of the cobbles with additional pointing to create a smooth corridor between the dropped kerbs.
