Issues
[/lead_text]
Lack of information is a major barrier for people moving around Bath in relation to
-
- Location of key facilities such as toilets, seating, key services and shopping facilities
- location of suitable parking spaces and availability
- Location of quieter areas for people with autism
- Location of crossing points and dropped kerbs
- Any diversions in place for footways or roadways, as these critically affect those driving or using wheelchairs.
-
I cannot read very well and it makes it hard to find my way around
-
Lack of signage relating to accessible public toilets. Are there any?
-
Lack of centralised information means that it is very hard to plan a journey into Bath without trial and error.
-
Information is key. There need to be Access pods/ information activity. Meaningful engagement is important.
