Issue

Many street signs in Bath are difficult for people with anything less than perfect vision to see because they are high up and have low tonal contrast between the text and background.

Opportunity

The tonal contrast of existing street signs could be improved without compromising their historical character. Additional signage could be provided at a lower level and with better tonal contrast.
